Engine Alternator Brackets

We all know what a pain it is to come up with a pulley, bracket, and belt combination to work on your small block Chevy engine. We have pre-engineered our package to include the nuts, bolts, and polished billet aluminum brackets to make this a simple installation. Inboard (high) mount brackets for early cars, meaning it will place the alternator up high between the intake manifold and valve cover. Mounts the alternator on the driver's side. Note:  S/B Chevy, short style water pump only.

Late 1950's and early 1960's S/B Chevys had the generator attached to the left exhaust manifold. With headers installed, our brackets are needed to reattach your generator/alternator. Bracket base attaches at #1 cylinder exhaust port and works in conjunction with slide bracket 720-9008. These '65-'73 OEM-style alternator brackets feature a brilliant chrome plating which will help dress up your engine bay. Fits Small Block Ford 289 and 302 (not 351W). Note: These brackets will not fit the 351W which has a taller deck height than the 289-302 engines.
