The sealed beam light can be removed from the housing but the glass lens cannot be removed from the sealed beam. If they are damaged then you will need a new bulb.

The Dietz headlight with the standard bulb utilizes the common 6014 seal beam that is the single headlight bulb of the auto industry for decades. Wattage varies slightly but the common wattage is 60/50. There is a halogen seam beam offered as well with superior light output if so desired.

Part number 91101001 These lights accept most aftermarket 7” headlight such as part number 9106127. With variations of the mounting flange thickness on the replacement lights in some cases some of the plastic material may need to be removed to allow the chrome retainer bezel to fully seat on the headlight housing.

The Dietz headlights have sufficient length mounting studs for most applications and the threaded stud extends approximately 2” below the flat mount base. In many cases the customer or builder shortens the stud for a cleaner installation. The flat mount base can be removed and the light mounted in a headlight bar or stand if desired. A rubber gasket or seal is NOT included for the base.

Our Dietz type headlights do not include a parking lamp. They only have provisions for high beam and low beam headlights. For an accessory parking lamp, you may want to consider our 316-0176 or 316-0171 or 316-5052 universal specialty lamps.
