Info

These non-SFI rated S/B Chevy automatic transmission flexplates are suggested whenever installing a new engine or transmission. These flexplates are for two-piece rear main seal engines ONLY.

  • (External balance, 168-tooth)
    • Dual bolt patterns, 10-3/4" and 11-1/2"
    • Flexplate O.D. 14-1/4"

Good flexplate!

All fit well until we attached the torque converter. On of the bolt holes had to be stepped as it was drilled too small in relation to the others. For the price it is still a value.

It will depend upon the starter you are using. The starter and flexplate must both be for the same tooth count. A 153 tooth starter can not be used with a 168 tooth flexplate and vice versa.

All stock 400 engines used a 168 tooth flex palate with an external balance weight welded on it. Part number 91048360 would be the flex plate for your 400 engine.

For a stock GM crank you will want a internaly balanced part
