It's not too bad putting a Chevy cam in about 3/4 of the way. That's when you get shaky and start nicking the cam bearings. This tool bolts on the end of the cam and gives you the control to do the job right. Works great for taking the cam out too.

We all know what a pain it is to come up with a pulley, bracket, and belt combination to work on your small block Chevy engine. We have pre-engineered our package to include the nuts, bolts, and polished billet aluminum brackets to make this a simple installation. Inboard (high) mount brackets for early cars, meaning it will place the alternator up high between the intake manifold and valve cover. Mounts the alternator on the driver's side.
