Title:  Inbound Call Center Rep - P/T
Department:  Call Center/Sales
Looking for some extra money but can only work part time hours? Speedway Motors is a growing catalog order company that sells classic and performance automotive parts to customers all over the world. Positions are available in our busy Call Center to process orders and answer general customer inquiries. Fun and fast paced. Must be a fast learner, have strong communication skills, an excellent attendance record and be able to provide industry leading customer service. Computer skills are needed with the ability to type 30 wpm min. Previous customer service experience is required.

Here is your chance to share your expertise and passion with other racers. Help solve customer issues over the phone offering insight about our extensive line of quality products for Sprint, Dirt and Circle track enthusiasts. Extensive racing background is necessary. Computer skills are required, must be able to type a minimum of 25 words per minute and no less than 110 keystrokes per minutes using 10-key. Must be dedicated in keeping our customers coming back again and again!

Do you have extensive Street Rod background? Would you like to use your expertise to help others who share your passion? Assist our customers in overcoming issues that just seem to go along with building your own Rod such as part installation, product compatability and other technical challenges. Excellent communication and customer service skills along with hands on, wrench turning experience and experience in a call center required. Title:  Soft Goods & Gift Buyer
Department:  Merchandising
America’s oldest speed shop is growing and this new position will lead the charge in our growing soft goods and merchandising categories. Speedway Motors has a reputation for providing racers and street rod enthusiasts with the products they are looking for, excellent service, and industry leading fast delivery. This individual will expand the Company’s product offerings in the soft goods and gift categories. Manage product assortment and source/recommend new products and category margins in the soft goods and gift product categories. Develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships. Study product performance and identify market trends. Collaborate with the creative department related to catalog presentation, photography and copy. Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is required, plus 2-3 years of experience in comprehensive soft goods and gift product categories, catalog development, merchandising, and production. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; AS/400 and Access knowledge a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. Automotive background. You must be energetic, self-directed, well organized and passionate about quality and an auto enthusiast.
