Bushings too big

Bought these for my S10 since the spring eye is the same as a Camaro at 1.5 ID. The aluminum bushings provided measured 1.62 OD I know they are a press fit but not 120 thou. That is almost an 1/8" I took them to a local machine shop and had them turned down to 1.51. They then pressed in perfectly but cost another 30 bucks plus the agravation. They are well made otherwise but in hindsight, I think I would just go with poly bushings in the stock shakles.
No, I would not recommend this product.

Yes this slider will fit your 77 Trans Am. It will fit 70 to 81 Camaro and Firebird.

This slider will eliminate the shackle on the rear of your leaf springs. It will be bolted or welded into place where the current shackle is fastened to the frame of your Camaro. This item is not intended for street use. We use them in circle track racing to get a more true spring rate so ride quality is unknown.
