serious fuel filter for serious applicat

December 28, 2012
This is the best fuel filter I have ever bought. The aluminum anodized construction is solid. I like how well the end caps screw in place and can be ordered separately with sizes from -6 to -10. If I ever booger up one of my caps, I should be able to replace the cap without having to replace the whole filter assembly. The diam is perfect and with two lengths to choose from, I'd choose the biggest that you can fit in the space allowed. Mine went under the back bumper, so I went with the 10" filter. The stainless filter is the way to go-def worth the extra $$. The only downgrade I gave it was price, after all, a $70 fuel filter is still a $70 fuel filter (but what a fuel filter it is!) I've paid more for competitors'. I am going to buy a second filter just to keep around for my next project. Maybe even a spare -8 end cap. I hope they keep making these forever, but you never know.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Sorry there is not a GPH rating on these filters. These are an extremely high flow and low pressure drop filter due to the large filter element size. I am not aware of any auto racing fuel pump that would flow more fuel volume than these filters could handle.

You can use it with ethanol for a short time but it will significantly shorten the life of the filter
