What's in the Box

Info

Works with 1928-34 Ford front ends with 1-3/4" wide cross spring. Extra long for lower shock mounts. Includes nylock nut.
  • 2-1/2" from top of threads to mid shoulder
  • 2-7/8" from top of threads to top of shoulder
  • Thread length is 1-7/8"
  • Distance from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the threads is 4-3/4"

No, these axle spring perches do not have the key slot cut into them. We recommend this being done after the front end has been assembled and shocks mounted to insure the slot is in the proper location to line up with key slot in the lower shock mount.

These spring perches are designed for a 1 ¾” wide spring. They can be used for a 2” wide spring by simply using a 2” shackle. Shortening the smaller I.D. of the 2” shackle bushing by ¼” where the bushing fits into the perch, and then using a 1/8” thick washer on each end of the bushings to compensate for the different spring width. The washer would go between the bushing and the shackle straps.

These perches have 5/8"-18 thread. The shank measures .679" OD.
