Simplified pinion nut/yoke removal

July 16, 2012
Simplifies pinion nut removal without resorting to removing the pinion housing assembly from the rear to put the yoke in a vise to zip the nut off. In theroy, the carrier bearing adjustment portion of the tool should work and mine did, up to the point where the pins got loose and fell out. If the pins had stayed put, I would have given this tool a 5 star rating.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
No, I would not recommend this product.

Bigger Bolt options

May 21, 2014
It would be nicer if you had the option to use the size bolt that is in the yoke (I. E. 3/8" for 1350 yoke).
Pros:
  • Great quality
Cons:
  • too small of bolt option (5/16")
Yes, I recommend this product.
