If you don't want your usual 9 inch in your rod, this rear end is for you. Its expensive but when you want your rod built your way, it can sometimes cost more.
I really liked how I was called ahead of time to be ready for delivery.

is there a disk brake kit available so i can use my 16 inch wire wheels on my 35 ford?

Our Winters quick change rear ends use new style big Ford axle ends. They readily accept disc brakes for 9" new style big Ford with 4-1/2 or 4-3/4 bolt pattern. Our disc brake conversions are more suited for modern style disc brake designed wheels and not original Ford wires. Original wheels have a 5-1/2 patterns, which is not available in any of our drum or disc kits.

What kind of horsepower will this rearend handle?
Asked on 9/22/2011 3:20:14 PM by socaljim from Westminster, CA.
These modern day quick change Winters rear ends have all the updates to handle high horsepower power plants. For the guys with the blown big blocks in their hot rods wanting the nostalgic looks this is the answer. No actual horsepower rating is applied by the manufacturer and with specifics in question you may want to contact Winters Performance direct. Their part number is SR2550STB.
