Poor lens quality

July 30, 2014
The plastic lens has a huge defect in it that causes a lot of distortion. It is almost impossible to see the traffic light through the lens. Wish that I hadn't spent the money for this!
No, I would not recommend this product.

Very hard to position and get to work.

November 08, 2012
Great idea but not a good product. It is small and extremely hard to position to get to work and hard to get to stick. The better product is the wider film type and I wish you would carry it; however it apparently ran into a patent infringement and is no longer available but seems to work much better.
Cons:
  • doesn't work easily
No, I would not recommend this product.

Classic car must!

June 25, 2012
Hubby added this to our classic car that has a low roof line which makes seeing the stop lights an issue. This allow the color of the light to illuminate through the piece. Wish it was glass though.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Easy To Use
  • Versatile
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just what I was looking for!

May 06, 2011
I drive a 2004 Ford Ranger and I am 6 feet tall, so where I sit in the drivers seat and when I am stopped at a traffic light that is more overhead, I would have to lean forward and look up to wait for the light to change - in other words, this truck is made for a shorter person than myself. I recalled my uncle having one of these prisms way back when, so I got to looking on line and found this one here at Speedway motors. I put in on the windshield and it works great! I can even fold it back when I don't need to us it (like on the freeway). So, yes I am glad that I purchased this!
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
Yes, I recommend this product.

The cone side goes down or toward you. You locate the device directly in front of you at the upper edge of your windshield. Then you find a traffic light that you cannot see when you stop at the line and adjust the prism so that you can.

This stop light prism helps eliminate neck strain when trying to see the stop light in some of the hot rods with chopped tops or vehicles with sun visors. It was actually offered as a dealer option on many vehicles of the late 40’s and early 50’s. Normally attaches towards the center of the windshield towards the bottom and the flat part sits flat or facing up as shown in our catalog and on our website. You can bend the wire bracket as needed for proper adjustment which is determined by seating position of the driver and his physical stature. You can rotate it or angle it as needed to get the desired results.
