Info

Wilwood's racing brake/clutch pedal assemblies are the result of years of hands-on experience, input from racers and chassis builders, and design, material selection and manufacturing techniques that result in durable, lightweight components. They incorporate ergonomics without sacrificing performance, and practical requirements without adding weight.

Tri reverse mount master cylinder pedal assembly has both clutch and brake pedals with balance bar for dual brake master cylinders.

  • Combines the brake & clutch pedals into one unit
  • Positions M/C inside the firewall away from engine heat
  • Aluminum frame & arm construction
  • Steel pivots & mounting studs
  • Anti-skid pedal pads
  • Clevis and pivot pin balance bar provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias
  • Bias can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustment

This pedal assembly is just what my rat rod needed. The product was very easy to install and it looks great in the cockpit. The wilwood assembly is a very neat set up no ugly master cylinders on the fire wall. The only down side is the price they are a little expensive.
Pros:
  • This Was A Very Easy Inst
Cons:
  • They Are A Little Pricy
Yes, I recommend this product.

I would first try two 7/8" bore master cylinders for the brakes and a 3/4" for the clutch. Sizing of the master cylinders will be a bit of trial and error for your application but I believe that would be a good place to start.

Part number 91029974 This could be used with a hydraulic throwout bearing and available in bore sizes to match the bearing requirement. The two master cylinders for the brakes feature a balance bar for varying pressure front to rear and normally use 1” bore on each cylinder but varying sizes is also available.

If you have room to mount this pedal assembly under your dash and will have access to the master cylinders under the dash the this pedal assembly could work for you. The sizing of the brake master cylinders would have to do with the brake calipers or wheel cylinder that they are operating. Commonly 7/8" or 1" bore size brake master cylinders are used. Also the clutch master cylinder will need to be sized according to the requirements of your slave cylinder or hydraulic throwout bearing. Commonly used sizes for the clutch master cylinder are 3/4" and 7/8".

I am building a rat rod. I am using a Speedway # 9133902-4 1/2-CROS-PLN front brakes and the rear will be standard Ford disk brakes off of late 90's explorer. The transmission is a 5 speed from a 93 s-10 pickup. Will this break/clutch setup work for my application?

Yes this kit will work for your application. I suggest 7/8" bore master cylinders for both front and rear brakes. The master cylinder size needed for your clutch will be dependent upon the slave cylinder or hydraulic throwout bearing that you are using.
