Walker Z-Series radiators feature a 4-row, high-flow copper core which is ideal for use with Big Blocks, blowers, and high compression engines. Built for a direct fit with heavy gauge steel side brackets and mounting holes pre-stamped. Includes a built-in oil cooler for automatic transmissions.

  • Dummy filler neck in OEM location - accepts stock type caps & accessories
  • Works with original, reproduction steel, or fiberglass grille shells
  • Copper core w/ 1-piece brass tanks
  • Vertical tubes every 1/4" and 12 fins per inch of height

Note: The cap for the dummy neck could be number 91122002 or one of the other Model A caps. The pressurized cap at the rear of the upper tank could be as low as a 15lb cap and up to a 32lb cap. Engine you run dictates which cap would be needed. A commonly used cap is our speedway cap number 91015620.

1930-31 S SERIES 4-CORE RADIATOR
                        

Don't be fooled into believing you need a thicker core for increased cooling! A thicker core can restrict air flow through itself, decreasing it's own efficiency!

Cobra Walker radiators boast a relatively thin but very effective core with a vertical tube every 1/4" and 17 fins per inch of height.

All Walker radiators are made from the finest materials available;

  • copper cores
  • one-piece deep draw brass tanks
  • heavy duty steel side brackets

They easily withstand working pressures of 18 psi, incorporate an oil cooler for automatic transmissions (Flathead radiators don't have oil cooler) and a brass drain cock for easy service.

Each radiator is built for a specific application with heavy gauge steel side brackets and standard mounting holes pre-stamped. They work with original, reproduction, steel or fiberglass grille shells.

  • Model T and A radiators have a dummy filler neck in the original stock location to accept stock type caps and accessories. Most radiators have the real filler neck on the rear of the upper tank on the passenger side. The upper outlet will be 1-1/2" and positioned in the center or towards the Driver's side (depending on application.)
  • Unless listed as Ford Motor, each radiator's lower outlet will be 1-3/4" and positioned on the (RH) passenger's side. Ford motor applications will have a B prefix in the part number and a 1-3/4" lower outlet on the (LH) driver's side.
  • Small Block Ford engines can take advantage of the less expensive and more readily available "Chevy" radiators by using a passenger side inlet water pump (such as 910-15544) and get additional steering box/fuel pump clearance to boot!
  • Flathead engine applications will have an FH designation and have two upper and two lower outlets.
  • The Cobra Series is fine for mild small block engines with stock or low compression ratios.
  • The Z-Series is a 4-core design for big blocks, 400 cubic inch S/B Chevys, blowers, high compression, flatheads, and other cooling problem cars.

Cooling Components CCI-1750 Cooling Machine Electric Fan, Style 50
                        At one time or another we all have had a car overheat. These fan/shroud combos are just the ticket to avoid having it happen again. These 2500 CFM pull-type fans measure 2-5/8" deep at the motor, 2-3/8" at the mounting brackets and 1-1/2" at the high impact shroud. 12 volt.
