It's been almost 40 years since I was a service technician. The line of sealant products used in the automotive industry has changed. We didn't have Lock-Tite or all the new black-red-blue silicone sealants. Does this publication include info on sealant use for oil, water gaskets? How about sealant around the one piece rear engine seal etc .. ? Thanks, Scalawag Joe - The Retired Old Coot

Yes, the book has a small section that discusses thread sealers, assembly lubricant, silicones and Loctite. It also talks about what to use where on assembly pages.
