At one time or another we all have had a car overheat. The Ultimate Cooling Machine fan/shroud combos are just the ticket to avoid having it happen again. These 2500 CFM pull-type fans measure 2-5/8" deep at the motor, 2-3/8" at the mounting brackets and 1-1/2" at the high impact shroud. 12 volt.

Notes

  1. This fan has two speeds. It has two positive wires going to the motor, one is gray and one is white. If both recieve 12 volts, the fan will be on high speed. If only one recieves 12 volts, the fan will be on low speed. The black wire is ground.
  2. These fans draw 60+ amps on initial startup and have an operating amperage draw of 16-22 amps. Due to the high amperage these fans pull on initial startup, we highly recommend using 70 amp fan relays 910-51000 or 910-50051.

Wish I had gotten this fan years eariler

I have tried just about every type of fan and configuration on my 32 Ford. I had a single 16" fan, had dual 10" fans, had these in pusher and puller set ups. Tried mechanical fan with single and dual fans pushing and nothing would keep temps in a reasonable range. I was concerned with space/clearance issues and was looking at the CCI-1730 but decided that the CCI-1750 may provide better airflow. I trimmed two sides of the shroud flange and fabricated 4 brackets and mounted it to the radiator quickly and easily. This fan performed! Kept temps steady. Previous puller fan/shroud I tried seemed to discharge air straight back and heat sink the motor. The CCI discharges more radially. Finally I can enjoy driving the blown 427 with out worrying about getting caught in traffic!

I love it when you buy something and it is as good or better than represented, and this setup goes beyond that. I installed it on my 31 model A with a blower motor that was over heating and had minimal clearance . It does not go over 180 now , fit was great, with minimal trimming , looks like it came on my Griffen radiator , and had room to spare. Great bang for the buck !

I think it is less than 3 inchessomewhere around 2 5/8,total.You can trim the sides to fit.I have clearance problems also,but this seems to be ok. I bought a Walker Cobra style radiator. Paisano

This is originally intended to be used with a Walker radiator, but you should be able to use it with an original. The measurements are as follows WIDTH: 18 1/2", HEIGHT: 22 3/16. This fan also has the ability of being trimmed down to the following dimensions: WIDTH: 17 1/2" HEIGHT: 21 1/8"

This style 50 Ultimate Cooling Machine is specified for the 1932 Ford stock dimension radiator. It can be trimmed to exact fit and offers 2500 cfm of air flow capability. Manufacturer suggests a 40 amp relay kit number 91051000 and this can be triggered by a basic toggle switch or you may want to opt for a temp sensor such as part number 91064206 or an adjustable fan control kit such as 91064014 or 91064062 to compliment the package.

I have a Walker radiator CAC521-1.Can this fan be used on it?Can screws be used safely in the flange that is bent back over the outside tube row on each side of the radiator to hold the shroud on? Thank You Frank Lounsbury

This fan and shroud can be mounted to the outside straps on the sides or top and bottom whether vertical or cross flow by screws or aluminum pop rivets. The shroud comes in dimensions specified and can be trimmed as follows: WIDTH: 18 1/2" HEIGHT: 22 3/16 THE FAN HAS THE CAPABILITY OF BEING "TRIMMED DOWN" TO THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS: WIDTH: 17 1/2" HEIGHT: 21 1/8" Manufacturer recommends a 70 amp relay kit number 91050051 and you may also be interested in a sensor to turn it on at a certain temperature or even a variable speed controller. Many options are available and on the our website and in our catalog. With specific questions feel free to call and visit with a street rod tech for assistance.
