At one time or another we all have had a car overheat. The Ultimate Cooling Machine fan/shroud combos are just the ticket to avoid having it happen again. These 2500 CFM pull-type fans measure 2-5/8" deep at the motor, 2-3/8" at the mounting brackets and 1-1/2" at the high impact shroud.

Notes

  1. This fan has two speeds. It has two positive wires going to the motor, one is gray and one is white. If both recieve 12 volts, the fan will be on high speed. If only one recieves 12 volts, the fan will be on low speed. The black wire is ground.
  2. These fans draw 60+ amps on initial startup and have an operating amperage draw of 16-22 amps. Due to the high amperage these fans pull on initial startup, we highly recommend using 70 amp fan relays 910-51000 or 910-50051.

This fan/shroud combo is trimable on the shroud for an exact fit to encompass the entire radiator core. Once trimmed to fit simply drill thru the outer edge where it meets the side support of the radiator and carefully drill the support strap of the radiator as well and screw the shroud directly to the radiator. This makes the fan pull the air thru the entire core for the ultimate in cooling efficiency.

There are two 12+ wires coming out of the motor body. If one wire is given 12+ the fan will spin at low speed. If both wires receive 12+, the fan will spin on high speed. These fans draw 60+ amps on initial startup, and have an operating amperage draw of 16-22 amps. Due to the high amperage these fans pull on initial startup, we highly recommend using 70 amp fan relays 91051000 or 91050051.

These fan and shroud assemblies come in various sizes to fit many applications and can be reduced in size by trimming the surrounding flange on the sides for more versatile fits to various applications. An example would be our style 70 which is listed for many vehicles including the 1949 Ford car. As it comes the dimensions are 21 ½” wide by 19 ½” high. It can be trimmed down to 19 7/8” wide by 18 ½” tall.

For your supercharged 350 Speedway Motors recommends the Walker radiator 820-Z4871. The Ultimate Cooling Machine you would want to use with that is part #91015672.
