This Wilwood pedal/US Brake master cylinder assembly combines the brake and clutch pedals together in one unit and positions the master cylinders inside the firewall and away from engine heat. It features all aluminum frame and arm construction with steel pivots, mounting studs, and anti-skid pedal pads. Wilwoods clevis and pivot pin balance bar provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. It can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments.

  • 6.2:1 pedal ratio 
  • External return spring maintains positive pedal feel, prolongs pad life
  • Polished smooth bores
  • One-piece alumiunum construction
  • Each master cylinder has a single 1/8" NPT outlet
  • Specify m/c bore sizes needed (3/4", 7/8", 1")

As a rule of thumb, Calipers are reactive to volume more so than pressure, whereas wheel cylinders like pressure to provide the necessary braking action. For a disc/drum system, a 1" bore will suit the caliper equipped front, then use a 1" or preferably a 7/8" bore M/C for the rear cylinders. A four wheel disc system would be appropriate with a 1 1/8" bore M/C and a four wheel cylinder set-up would be just fine with a 1" bore or possibly smaller with a single chambered M/C.
