What is the length and width of this pedal assembly. What size footprint does it require? I want to mount this in a rather tight space where the fire wall is almost vertical and very close to drivers feet.

DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid will work fine in these for your hot rod. We typically use extra high temperature racing brake fluid for racing applications but that is probably not necessary for your application.
