This Mopar V8 swap kit allows you to install 340-360 motors in the ’67-’72 A body Mopars such as Cuda, Dart, Demon, Duster, Scamp, and Valiant cars that originally had a Slant-6.
Note: The mounts can be shifted somewhat front-to-back (to allow the transmission mount to align with the transmission mount crossmember) and thus get the engine in the “stock” position. Exhaust clearance can be tricky. It is recommended to use the close-fit, factory V8 exhaust manifolds or Block-Hugger style headers to ease those issues. Clearances to other areas can be close, but can be dealt with by sourcing original V8-specific components, “massaging” the trouble areas, or acquiring aftermarket equivalents for just such a conversion. Most customers have minimal difficulty when using V8s from passenger applications.

One thing to never forget - the wiring in your muscle car is forty years old and updating to modern and safe components is easy. This Painless Wiring harness features many pre-wired connections and is color coded to make installation a snap. This customizable 21 circuit harness can be used in almost any application where you want Mopar color coded wires. This harness elimintes the troublesome bulkhead connector, and uses our unique covered micro-fuse block. Also featured is an auxiliary circuit with a 20 amp relay for accessories such as fog lights, or an electric fuel pump. Each wire is custom printed with the circuit identification for easy installation.

These strong, lightweight steel bellhousings are just the ticket for installing a Mopar 3 or 4 speed manual transmission behind your favorite V8 engine. We're now offering them for small block 318-360 Mopars.
The compact design allows the bellhousings to fit in tight quarters and most will accommodate up to a 10-1/2" clutch. Set up to use an original style clutch fork and release bearing, but can also be used with hydraulic release bearings.
Based on the racing version of the legendary Super Shifter 3, the Hurst Street Super/Shifter brings many of the same quality features to a new level of performance. Features a 7-1/2" tall chrome plated short throw stick.
