                                                        These solid steering shafts are made for you to cut to fit. 3/4" O.D. 1018 solid steel shaft. Available in 24", 36", 48", 60" and 72" lengths.

Sometimes you need just a little bit more clearance than a standard steering u-joint can give you. Our double u-joints allow up to 70 degrees of angle or 1" of offset for just those occasions. These steering universal joints are made of forged vanadium steel and real needle bearing joints.  5-5/8" overall length.
Overall length is 5-1/2”
O.D. at ends is 1.12”
O.D. in the middle is 1.476”
O.D. at caps is 1.350”
O.D. at cap retainer screws is 1.545”
Length of center section is 2-3/4”

These polished stainless steel U-joints look great and use a pinch bolt on each end for easy installation. These universal joints are 3-3/4 inch in length and have a 1.650 inch outside diameter.
The OD is 1.650" (41.90mm)  
 3-3/4" in total length
This size of spline works with Unisteer's Cross Steer Rack & Pinion, Prostock Rack, and Manual Camaro Rack & Pinion and is also the size of manual Mustang Style Rack & Pinions.

NOTE:  These u-joints contain a safety feature that requires the DD steering shaft to be notched for pinch bolt clearance. Once notched, the pinch bolt MUST be torqued to 45 ft/lbs to ensure a tight fit.
                                                    

						                        

							                        

                                                        It's pretty silly to use plain old steel double d shaft with those shiny stainless steel u-joints. We offer this polished stainless steel double D shaft in 18", 22" and 36" cut to fit lengths. 
                                                    
						                        

							                        

                                                        Steel coupler is splined on one end and has a 3/4" round hole on the other.  
When ordering, select applicable hole size/spline needed.

We now offer ¾” DD shaft machined the entire length of the shaft, making it easier to set up your steering. Couplers are available for direct steering connections where an angle is not required. Couplers can also be used to extend the steering shaft.
