Yes this will fit a '78 to '88 G body or 'Metric' car. Pitman arm 91032550 is correct for that application and will fit this box.

We offer several pitman arms that will fit this steering box. The one you need will be dependent upon the application it is used on. Some of the pitman arms for this box include 91032550, 91032555, 91032560, 91032556. This uses the "big spline" size that GM used through the 60's 70's and 80's cars.

It is doubtful that this steering box will fit between the rail and a small block Chevy on the T bucket chassis without modification to the length, width, or both. Sorry I do not have a power steering box that will fit in the tight quarters of a T bucket application.

This box says 1.5 turns "lock-to-lock." Is that measured by spinning the input shaft of the box out of the car lock-to-lock? Or is that measured by spinning the steering wheel lock-to-lock with the box installed in the car?

Steering boxes have a limit stop built into them which people commonly refeer to as a "lock". If you spin the input shaft of this steering box from full left to full right it will turn 1.5 revolutions. Your vehicle may have steering limits built into the spindles and/or lower control arms. If those steering stops hit before the steering box limit hits then your lock to lock on the steering wheel would be less than 1.5 revolutions.

Sorry Sweet does not have an amount of sweep listed for these steering boxes. Sweet machines the internal stops in order to achieve the maximum amount of pitman arm sweep possible.
