Uses new, OEM cast iron castings precision machined and assembled by Stewart Components to their exacting standards. They feature higher flow and pressure for better cooling. They have a 3/4" bearing and 5/8" shaft.

    These pumps are assembled with 356-T6 heat treated aluminum castings. Precision CNC machined components. The fan hubs are 1/2" thick and machined from billet steel. These pumps are preferred by many top engine builders for higher RPM applications.

    These Stage 3 water pumps feature 1/2" thick steel fan hub with set screw for positive positioning and 356-T6 heat treated aluminum casting. The S/B Chevy pump has an extra rigid cam stop with a 3/8" adjusting screw. The extra material adjacent to the block mounting bolts allows drilling and tapping up to 1/2" NPT holes for external cooling lines on S/B Chevy. There is higher flow and pressure for better cooling as well as equal flow to right and left cylinder heads. The 3/4" bearings offer 5 times the strength of standard bearings. Precision impeller installed to exacting tolerances. One year manufacturers warranty.

                                                        Our 100% new, pressure cast & CNC machined pumps feature characteristics often overlooked by other manufacturers - precision-ground hubs to eliminate vibration; heavy duty ball-roller or ball-ball bearings; ceramic seal assemblies for extended life; closed-vane impellers for unsurpassed output; and zinc-coated backplates to stand up to corrosion. 
    "Short" style pumps came on all factory small block V8s from 1955 to 1968. However, this pump will fit all S/B Chevys up to 1985.

    These upper pulleys for 1955-68 short water pumps feature a single  groove with a beautiful chrome finish.  They will work with 283-350 V8  small block Chevy engines.  Sitting flat on the workbench, the pulley is 2-3/4" high in the center at the water pump.

    Kit includes a cast aluminum double groove cast aluminum water pump pulley, crank pulley, and a matched pair of heavy duty belts. Slows water pump speed by 20% for increased horsepower.
    • Upper Pulley Grooves:  Two
    • Lower Pulley Grooves:  Two 
    • Upper Pulley Diameter:  6-5/8" O.D.
    • Lower Pulley Diameter:  5-7/16" O.D.
    • Upper Pulley Snout Hole:  5/8" O.D. (can be drilled out to 3/4")
    Fits Small Block Chevy V8 with '55-'68 short-style water pump with 5/8" shaft.
    Note: The lower crank pulleys in our combo kits are manufactured  thicker than normal stock pulleys.  This requires longer 3/8" bolts to  be purchased separately.  Allen head type bolts recommended.
