1948-52 Ford F1 Forged Upper Shock Mounts, 5-1/2 Inch

After more than fifty years of use, the original upper shock mounts on the front of your vintage Ford pickup are likely worn out, damaged or missing. These forged steel upper shock mounts are reproductions of those used on 1948-1952 Ford F1 trucks, but are also adaptable to other beam-axle hot rods. The F1 shock mounts we popular on early-style hot rods where an upgrade to telescoping shocks over lever shocks was desired.

Forged from the finest steel, these zinc-plated mounts are available in 5-1/2" or 6-1/2" lengths (measured from the centerline of the stud to the center of the top bolt hole) and accept shocks with 5/8" I.D. bushings. Hardware is included.

Stainless Steel HighBoy Front Shock Mounts
                        These stainless steel upper front shock mounts measure 4" from the top bolt hole to the centerline of the stud.  Mounting bolts are spaced at 2-5/16" on center.

Shocks bushing and stainless steel hardware is included.

                        Bolt-on for early frames, heliarc welded steel. Perfect for shocks! 5" tall, 1⁄2" I.D. shock boss. Sold as a pair. 
Speedway Shock Towers

These upper shock mounts are 10-1/2" from the bottom edge to the centerline of the shock hole. The shock hole is tapered from both directions and will either require our 535-AK35 shock stud kit, or be drilled out to 5/8". 

These mounts are a cut-to-fit item and require welding and fabrication skills.
