Lightweight aluminum expansion tank from Spike Chassis. 16oz capacity.

Height of tank is 6.75" and the diameter is 2.5". The bracket adds 3/4" to the width. Fittings needed include: 3/8" on bottom, 1/8" on side. The mounting bracket has holes for two screws as well as permanently attached nuts. Uses standard radiator cap, which is not included.

Good Product

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We use it as a replacement for radiator expansion tanks where we need more room for our turbo set ups. Works great. Would like it if the bottom fitting was 1/2 x 14 NPT more but we just drill and tap it out to that size.

great for swaps

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great expansion tank, just had to figure out thread of the nuts on the bracket... 1/4"-28, locking. Put this at the high point of the cooling system so it burps properly... I used it on an LS1 swap where the radiator was lower than the engine. steam line goes to the small port, and then T's into the heater hose.
