This item works really well for small, intricate parts (such as carburetor parts, mechanical fuel injectors, instrument parts, etc.). The cleaner works much like a jewelry cleaner does. It sends intense, hi-speed vibrations through the cleaning medium (most recommended is white vinegar) to dissolve light corrosion and to loosen and dislodge debris that is caught in small passages or inaccessible locations. The time required to clean a given item will many times require a little bit of trial and error. I normally start off with about 15 minutes and sometimes go as long as a few hours.

How does it perform on rust and dirt?
February 23, 2011
The level of performance will depend on what cleaning solution you use(not included). Works great removing dirt and other particles from parts but probably will not remove a lot of rust without a cleaning solution specifically for that.

What do you use for the cleaning solution 100 percent white vinegar and how long do clean injectors?

That would work fine however you may not like the smell. I use Windex glass cleaner and go for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Be sure to put some type of lube back on the O-rings before installing them back in the motor.
