Sorry we are not sure of the taper of the ball joint from an 89 Dodge van. You could measure the taper on the ball joint to determine if it is a common 7 or 10 degree.

Will this reamer work on a 2006 Silverado? I need to make the ball joint hole larger for a bigger ball joint (fab tech ball joint # 10269B) . My truck is a 2WD crew cab. Thanks

You will need to contact Fabtech to determine what the taper of the ball joint 10269B is. If it is a 10 degree (2" per foot taper) then this would be the correct reamer for you.
