What's in the Box

Tapered reamers for proper fitting of ball joints to spindles, tie rod ends to spindles, etc. These have 1/2" shank. The 2" per foot reamer, also known as a 10° tapered reamer, works with Speedway ball joints 917-20036 K727, 917-20038 K6141, 917-20038-1 K6117, and 917-20039 K6145.

Measures a little more than 1/2" at the small end and 1" at the big end.

I used this to cut my lower ball joint on my Pierce Modified. I went to the screw in ball joints and needed to make taper larger. This thing worked great. Thanks Speedway Motors!

Mustang II outer tie rods have a 7 degree taper so you need reamer 91089411.

Sorry we are not sure of the taper of the ball joint from an 89 Dodge van. You could measure the taper on the ball joint to determine if it is a common 7 or 10 degree.

You will need to contact Fabtech to determine what the taper of the ball joint 10269B is. If it is a 10 degree (2" per foot taper) then this would be the correct reamer for you.

This reamer has a 2" per foot taper. It is not a true 10 degree taper like you have referenced.
