Spark plug protector eliminates that melted boot problem! Heat treated fiberglass, universal size fits most boots - even 90°. Protects up to 1200°. Non-flammable, non-reactive to petroleum products and resists water and fungus. Overall length is 6.25".

I have block hugger headers and straight boots. These boot covers work perfect.

I put this item on all 8 spark plugs and and the power steering hoses that run close to the header

A DEFINATE LIFESAVER FOR YOUR WIRES

BURNED UP WIRES MY FIRST RACE SEASON ALOT, & HAD VAPOR LOCKING ISSUES FROM HEAT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. RUNNING A SBC IN A CRUISER DIVISION ON A DIRT OVAL, I BOUGHT 2 SETS OF THESE BOOT PROTECTORS. INSTALLED 1 SET ON MY IGNITION WIRES & PUTTING THE REMAINING ONES ON THE FUEL LINE GOING FROM THE FUEL PUMP TO THE 4 BARREL CARB I WAS RUNNING. THE RESULTS WERE NIGHT & DAY, I HAD NO MORE ISSUES AT ALL & CHANGED NOTHING ELSE ON MY MOTOR. MORE PROOF NEEDED? I WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2010 IN MY DIVISION & HAD NO DNF FINISHES. NO VAPOR LOCKING & NO MORE BURNT WIRES. THANK YOU SPEEDWAY
