Quality seems quite good

August 30, 2015
Appears well made and runs relatively quietly. The fan motor draws lots of amps so it needs to be wired appropriately. I could not find a female mate to the plug which came with the fan so I had to improvise. It would have been nice if fan connection had both a male and female plug with a water proof connection, but it did not seem to be available. A common method of attaching a fan like this to a radiator is with a zip tie rod, but the frame on this fan does not have a flat spot near the mounting holes for such mounting.
Pros:
  • Loss Mass
  • Quality
  • Quiet
Cons:
  • No Female Plug
  • Draws Lots Of Amps
  • Connectons Not Waterproof
Yes, I recommend this product.

On an old dodge truck using a 32 Ford radiator with shroud. This fan is expensive, but you get what you pay for! Keeps my 350 sbc at a cool 190 regardless of 100 degree outside temps while sitting in traffic. Worth every penny.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Puller fan

September 19, 2013
Very powerful fan. I've used Flex a lite in the past. This fan certainly out pulls any fan I've used in the past. Would recommend the SPAL wiring harness and relay. Makes install a breeze

Best made electric fans out there!

October 24, 2011
Well made product you'll have no problems with. Multiple ways to mount to your radiator so make sure you think of that in case you need to order a different mount. Easiest to wire with the spal harness kit but no matter the method, it's easy to wire. Quiet fans and move a lot of air to keep your engine cool!
Pros:
  • Improves Engine Efficiency
  • Easy To Install
  • Durable
Yes, I recommend this product.

Moves a lot of air

May 26, 2011
This 14 inch pull fan fit my T Bucket radiator just fine, using the non supplied mounting kit. It really moves quite a lot of air for its size. It is some what thin for an electric fan, but do check first. I had to move my radiator forward some for water pump clearance. The fan does, like most electric fans, make some noise, but not crazy noise like some fans I used in the past. It is exposed in my T Bucket, so I hear it. In a closed engine compartment you may not notice. I would use a modulated speed fan controller for quiet use.
Pros:
  • Improves Engine Efficiency
  • Lightweight
  • Durable
  • Easy To Install
Yes, I recommend this product.

This fan is a very high quality fan. It cools my 1975 bronco well, which are difficult to keep cool. It does draw a lot of amperage. I need to run a 30 amp fuse with this fan.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I used mine as a puller. It mounts on the inside of the engine compartment. Its best to have some type of shround, and space the fan 1in. or so from the radiator as to pull more air through.

Jason
This Spal curved blade fan is a "pull only" fan. It will mount behind radiator to pull air through.
