Nostalgia-style street rods are hotter than ever, and nothing gives your vintage rod that authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of Lakes Style Headers. These small-block Ford headers work great on early hoodless and fenderless rods like T-buckets, Model A's, and 1932-1934 Fords.

The headers have vertical flanges so you can connect them to a muffled under-car exhaust when the end plates are on.  

  • Fits SBF 289-351W V8 and type "P" cylinder heads.
  • Hookups provided for under-chassis exhaust
  • Block-off plate allows you to easily uncork headers
  • 1-5/8" primary tube diameter
  • 3-1/2" collector cone diameter

Looks good well built

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These headers fit my T Bucket 351 W perfect. I did find out that you have to use the supplied gaskets and not the stock gaskets or you will have a leak. Sounds good and looks good. The cap plates are easy to remove. The flange bolts were a little short for the lock washers to fit, but I just made sure they were really tight. Over all a good value. I would buy a set again.

Please note that the flanges on these headers are designed for "P" type S/B Ford cylinder heads.

Q:

Ok, What is a 289, 302, 351 Ford "P" type head. I am not sure I understand the difference. But I do know there is a difference, because some exhaust manifold gaskets will leak on different heads. Some kinds of gaskets leak, some don't, even though the headers will bolt up to the heads.
