Nostalgia-style street rods are hotter than ever, and nothing gives your vintage rod that authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of lakester headers. These exposed small block Chevy headers work great on rods without hoods, but we’ve also seen them peeking through carefully trimmed hood sides.
The headers have flanges so you can connect them to a muffled under-car exhaust when the end plates are on. Available with a protective Armor Hot Coating or in plain (bare) steel.
NOTE: Turn-outs NOT included. Headers come with end plates (turn outs sold seperately).

Armor Hot Coating (AHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained). If you are looking for a show-quality finish for your headers, this is it! Our AHC will withstand exhaust temperatures of up to 1300¢ª F.
