Highboy Headers

I used these on a 32 Ford Highboy build. They fit perfectly for that application. Fit and finish was great, no problems at all. If your building a highboy these do nicely. I had the exhaust system Jet Hot coated after the entire system was built and everyone was amazed at the quality. I will be buying these again when I build another.

No it is not, AHC is a satin type finish.

Two different animals, one is a high thermal coating, the AHC. Chrome plating is a 3-stage processs of copper,nickel and chromium. Both are durable coatings, the ACH is more thermal resistant. The chrome is "prettier", and more prone to bluing.

No, AHC is a dual in apperance compaired to chrome but will not turn blue like chrome does

Note: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.
