What's in the Box

Info

This low profile under the dash mount heat/cool unit is 26.25" wide 5.25" tall and 12" deep. Features a three speed blower, heat/cool adjustment, defroster duct hook-ups, and three 1" x 5" front adjusting vents. Easy to install with mounting slots on the sides of the unit all plumbing and wiring done from the back side of the unit. Will handle 18,000 BTU's based on a Sanden or Sankyo 508 compressor at 60 MPH. The blower motor is capable of 240 CFM. Minimum condenser dimensions would be 12"X18" but would prefer a 14"X20" sized condenser, or 280 sq. in.

Great Product

June 21, 2016
I bought this heating/ac unit because I have only seen it listed with you. The price was great and the shipping was fast. I saw it listed years ago but have not seen it in other catalogs for quite sometime. I will be using it in a 1947 Dodge Custom. It's an original 4dr snd except I just went from a 6 volt system to a 12 volt system. I can't wait to see hoe works.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Looks good under the dash and is putting out 51 degree air. Also the hook-up allows me to now have warm air to the wind shield to defrost if needed.
Yes, I recommend this product.

BTU ratings were quoted with a Sankyo 508 compressor so cooling output may vary slightly but with the proper plumbing the Ford compressor should give satisfactory results in your 50 Ford pickup.

Part number 91000466 This unit can be used in any vehicle capable of accommodating the dimensions listed. It does not include the A/C compressor, drier, lines, etc. as well as any plumbing for the heat or air. Dimensions are 26.5” wide, 5.25” tall, and 12” deep. Plus you will need additional room for the plumbing requirements.

This unit comes as shown in the photo and for operation you will still need everything from the firewall forward plus the correct hoses, lines, and fittings. We offer a Sanden A/C compressor under part number 42813459 and a black A/C hose kit number 42810100 and you will have to obtain correct brackets for your application. We have two sizes of condensers such as part number 42815242 and 42815215. Dryer with safety switch number 42891003 will be needed and the necessary hoses and fitting to plumb the heater.
