The Speedway Heatshield driving shoe is designed to defeat heat transfer in the cockpit from the pedals and floor. The shoes is engineered with an efficient heat transfer exchange system built into the construction. SFI 3.3/5 approved and Nomex constuction, mid top design. Sizes 8-14 in half sizes.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a great product! These shoes are replacing a 6 year old pair of Simpson heat shield shoes. I ripped the side out of the old ones on a sharp piece of metal that was hidden in some tall grass, otherwise the old ones were still in great shape. These have different styling, but appear as well made.
