Wilwood Brakes designs and manufactures high-performance Wilwood disc brake systems. Founded in 1977, Wilwood has developed a substantial matrix of brake components and engineering techniques that allow them to quickly and reliably create brake systems for almost any application. Wilwoods' core ability is the rapid development of custom engineered brake systems using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom components. Wilwood Forged Dynalite Pro-Series Front Hub Kits offer a complete disc brake upgrade solution for your 1937-48 Ford spindles. Based on the venerable forged billet Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits suit the braking requirements for a Model T type or T bucket type chassis. Medium Duty kits are recommended for use on T bucket type cars up to 2200 pounds with rear discs or on cars up to 2000 pounds with rear drums. 

Most kits require no modifications for installation, and provide plenty of clearance inside popular 15” wheels. FDL Pro-Series kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders.

This popular pedal mounts two brake master cylinders with a bias balance bar. The pedal features all aluminum frame and arm construction with steel pivots, mounting studs, and an anti-skid pedal pad. Wilwood's clevis and pivot pin balance bar provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. It can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments.

Wilwood high-volume aluminum master cylinders have the highest fluid capacity of any integral reservoir design. With a total capacity of 8.2 ounces, there is at least 26% more fluid than most competitive brands. More fluid volume means cooler temperatures and additional insurance for extreme conditions where high pad wear can compromise fluid levels during long events. With 1-7/16" of piston travel, there is plenty of margin when used with large four or six piston calipers.

An internal slosh baffle guarantees a constant fluid supply to the bore chamber during hard cornering, acceleration and braking. This unique baffle also eliminates aeration into the reservoir from return fluid that can occur during brake release and bleeding procedures.

  • Heavy-duty internal piston springs provide fast retraction for immediate release and positive fluid transfer without the need for cumbersome external pushrod springs

                Wilwood's new floor mount pedal assembly has a brake / clutch / throttle triple pedal design. There are three individual fabricated steel pedals with non-slip pedal pads to control brake, clutch and throttle. Pedal assembly part number 340-12411 is for front engine cars and includes a throttle bell crank and linkage assembly. This unit features an aluminum frame with strong lightweight fabricated steel pedal arms. The frame and the pedal arms have a black e-coat finish for protection and an attractive appearance. Also included with the pedal assembly are mounting studs, clevises, and balance bar assembly that is designed to provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. The balance bar can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments. The pedal assembly provides a 5.25 to 1 nominal ratio.

    Wilwood's Drilled Steel brake rotors provide a durable lightweight option in applications where sustained temperatures remain in the low to moderate range, and high heat spikes are only observed on an intermittent basis. Steel rotors are typically found in lighter weight open wheel cars such as sprints and modifieds. A special alloy and proprietary manufacturing processes give these rotors high resistance to thermal distortion with excellent friction and wear characteristics against the pads.

                Wilwood has packaged the popular Aluminum Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder with the Combination Proportioning Valve, mounting bracket, fluid tubes and mounting hardware in a kit. Tandem Master Cylinder represents the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The slotted flange mounting makes it a simple bolt on for many OE mounts including the popular Chrysler, Corvette, GM, and Ford Mustang bolt patterns and is compatible with manual or power brake system applications. Master cylinders are available in three bores sizes, 7/8" , 1"  or 1-1/8" , and three finishes, standard, ball burnished or black E-coat. The combination proportioning valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning adjustments on vehicles with custom brake systems. The combination block maintains full isolation between front and rear fluid circuits and is specifically designed to accompany the Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder. The combo valve and bracket are black E-coated for a performance look and long lasting durability. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder. Stainless steel button head fasteners thread into the bracket for a simple installation and years of durable, rust-free performance.                 SRP Drilled Performance Rotors feature a specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improve brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung suspension weight.

    The Forged Billet Dynalite is widely used in Road Race, Late Model Dirt, and Open Wheel motorsports. The latest applied developments and innovations in caliper design and manufacturing processes have resulted in substantial improvements in strength and performance over all comparable models.

    Forged Dynalites are the strongest calipers in the class, with weights starting at 2.80 pounds. Without even considering the overall greater strength and reliability of the forging, the reduced deflection tendencies and the resulting decrease in fluid volume displacement translate to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel. The bottom line is a taller pedal and better stopping power.

                Wilwood has packaged the popular Aluminum Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder with the Combination Proportioning Valve, mounting bracket, fluid tubes and mounting hardware in a kit. Tandem Master Cylinder represents the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The slotted flange mounting makes it a simple bolt on for many OE mounts including the popular Chrysler, Corvette, GM, and Ford Mustang bolt patterns and is compatible with manual or power brake system applications. Master cylinders are available in three bores sizes, 7/8" , 1"  or 1-1/8" , and three finishes, standard, ball burnished or black E-coat. The combination proportioning valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning adjustments on vehicles with custom brake systems. The combination block maintains full isolation between front and rear fluid circuits and is specifically designed to accompany the Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder. The combo valve and bracket are black E-coated for a performance look and long lasting durability. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder. Stainless steel button head fasteners thread into the bracket for a simple installation and years of durable, rust-free performance. Simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you're finished.

                Wilwood's 7/8" or 15/16" bore Tandem Aluminum Master Cylinders available in 3 finishes, plain, ball burnished, and black e-coat. These master cylinders are designed primarily for manual applications and include a pushrod. They're designed for mount flanges from 3.22"  to 3.40" , common measurements for most domestic cars and trucks from the mid 1960s to present, and offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.10"  with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders.     This assembly combines the brake and clutch pedals together in one unit and positions the master cylinders inside the firewall and away from engine heat. It features all aluminum frame and arm construction with steel pivots, mounting studs, and anti-skid pedal pads. Wilwood's clevis and pivot pin balance bar provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. It can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments.

    Has a 6.25:1 ratio on both clutch and brake pedal.

                Wilwood's ProSpindle is specifically designed for use in fabricated A-arm suspensions on kit cars, street rods, drag cars and other custom or race applications configured around Pinto/Mustang ll suspension geometry. A redesigned one-piece forged steel body uses common Pinto and Mustang ll tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings and seals. It is lightweight yet nearly three times stronger than OE or aftermarket two-piece cast iron and steel replacement spindles.

    The 2" dropped spindle pin provides the desired lowered ride height without disturbing the suspension geometry. Bolt-on steering arms are strong and can be reversed to accommodate rear steer configurations. They also allow the same spindle to be used on either side of a vehicle. Bolt-on caliper brackets attach to substantially reinforced mounting bosses on the spindle body for secure, deflection-free mounting of four or six piston calipers.

                For custom, show and high performance sport driving, SRP rotors offer the high tech look and improved performance of a directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. In addition to the aesthetic appeal, the venting and cleaning action of the hole and slot pattern helps to reduce pad glaze and minimize irregular pad build-up on the rotor faces. The results are a smoother engagement feel at the pedal and consistent response from the pads. Each rotor is precision machined to less than .001 tolerance for overall flatness, parallelism, and radial run-out on long grain carbon iron castings. The rotors are finished with a black electro coat to provide corrosion resistance.
