These Speedway spindles are one piece, drop forged design constructed of high strength 4140 steel, which makes them superior to original components. These spindles are modeled after the '37-'41 round-back design and use '37-'41 Ford king pins.

These spindles fit Ford axles from '28-'48. They can be used with period correct drum brakes or modern Speedway Motors disc brakes, but will not work with hubs from '28-'36.

                Equal partners in a smooth-riding leaf spring suspension are quality shocks and friction-free movement of the spring leafs. This special compound of poly-vinyl plastic has a very "slippery" surface which works as a permanent dry lubricant to eliminate interleaf friction and squeaking. It also features a small lip to keep it in place. 

    One 20 ft. roll does one cross spring. Liner is less than 1/16" thick.

                Flame cut steel upper steering arm for '37-'48 Ford spindles (with 3-3/8" mount centers). This design is available in 6-1/4" or 7-3/4" lengths. The longer 7-3/4" arms permit a tighter left turn when using large diameter front tires or front wheels with a deep reverse, and it also slows the steering rate for greater control. Tapped 5/8" end accepts spherical rod ends. 

    NOTE: Upper steering arms allow the attachment of a drag link to the LH (driver's side) spindle. The arms attach with bolts through the upper 2 backing-plate-mounting holes on spindle.

    You will find Bilstein shocks as standard equipment on all the European sports and luxury cars. Now you can have Bilstein shocks for your street rod as well. Beautifully chrome plated. 7/16" top bushing and 5/8" bottom. The inner sleeve is 3/4" on these shocks so removing the sleeve will net a 3/4" I.D. and will not work on shock mounts with a smaller O.D.

    Don't settle for a weak 4-bar end made out of a piece of tubing welded to a bolt. These Speedway rod ends are made from forged steel for superior strength and durability. All rod ends feature a 5/8"-18 RH threaded shank and the nylon bushing has a steel sleeve that accepts a 1/2" bolt. Rod ends come in three different configurations:

    Choose from straight, 7° or 11° angled shanks.

    • Straight Shank
      • Mounting eye is perpendicular to threaded shank
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads 
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads is 2-7/8"
    • 7° Shank
      • Mounting eye is offset 7° from perpendicular to threaded shank (with the bushing side down, the stud will be angled up at a 7° angle)

    AFCO's R-Series Non-Adjustable Billet Aluminum coilovers are second to none. The secret is in the precision, race-inspired internal design that provides exceptional sensitivity to small, quick movements (bumps), while still providing firm control over relatively slower strokes (chassis roll).     Speedway offers this fully engineered shock mount. The 5/8" forged button head bolt looks good while offering maximum support.  The 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" billet aluminum support spacer has internal threads. This allows you to properly support this shock without crushing the bushing like others do, which leads to shock failures. There's a reason major chassis builders use this mount.

    • Billet aluminum
    • 5/8"-24 x 6" forged button head bolt
    • 5/8"-24 nylon locking nut
    • 6" from base of head to end of threads
    • 1-1/4" shock mount base
    • 1.5 O.D., .650" I.D. flat washer

    These precision made 4" dropped I-Beam axles accept 1928-36 Ford spindles and have 2-1/4" axle bosses. Dropped I-beam axles feature a one-piece design cast from high-strength 65-45-12 annealed ductile iron.
