    Don't settle for a weak 4-bar end made out of a piece of tubing welded to a bolt. These Speedway rod ends are made from forged steel for superior strength and durability. All rod ends feature a 5/8"-18 RH threaded shank and the nylon bushing has a steel sleeve that accepts a 1/2" bolt. Rod ends come in three different configurations:

    Choose from straight, 7° or 11° angled shanks.

    • Straight Shank
      • Mounting eye is perpendicular to threaded shank
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads 
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads is 2-7/8"
    • 7° Shank
      • Mounting eye is offset 7° from perpendicular to threaded shank (with the bushing side down, the stud will be angled up at a 7° angle)
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads 
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads on short side is 2-13/16"
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads on long side is 2-15/16"
    • 11° Shank
      • Mounting eye is offset 11° from perpendicular to threaded shank (with the bushing side down, the stud will be angled up at a 11° angle)
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads

                Every once in a while someone wants to use a rod end in place of a 11/16" tie rod. We listened to the requests and built them with 11/16"-18 RH or LH thread and accept a 5/8" thru-bolt.  Center of hole to end of threads 2-5/8"  thead length is 1-1/2".

    These Pro-1 rod ends are general purpose, 2-piece, heavy duty rod ends. They feature a chromoly steel body and are black oxide coated to resist corrosion. Heat treated, precision ground ball without a race (metal to metal contact). Pro-1 ends will withstand a greater static load than our "Standard" or "Precision" rod ends.

    Applications: Steering & suspension components on moderate to high horsepower applications.

    Assembly Tip: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.

    These standard rod ends are a general purpose, two piece design. They have a carbon steel body and a hardened ball with metal to metal contact.

    Applications: Clutch, brake, steering linkage, and suspension components on moderate horsepower applications.

                Precision steel rod ends provide greater strength than our "standard" rod ends. They have close tolerance and have a 3 piece medium duty rod end. Carbon steel body, 5210 precision ground ball and feature a Teflon Kevlar race. Self lubrication teflon liner to seal out dirt and debris. Shank and hole are the same size.  

    Applications: Clutch, Brake, Steering & Suspension Components. Quieter, Smoother, & More Durable Than 2 Piece Rod Ends. Tight Tolerance of Kevlar Race Reduces "Slop" In Steering & Suspension.

    These rod end seals are a neoprene rubber seal bonded to an aircraft quality washer. Extends the life of your rod ends by keeping the dirt, debris and moisture out of the spherical ball. They fit on both sides of the ball end of the heim joint and are sized to match the hole in the spherical ball.  

    For use with standard and Pro 1 Series rod end only. Sold in sets of six, which will cover both sides of three rod ends.
