This rear suspension kit is loaded with high quality components from Speedway and Carrera. Kit includes a steel panhard bar, chrome plated Carrera coil-over shock assemblies, bare steel 32" radius rods, and all mounting brackets and hardware. The Carrera 3-way adjustable, gas pressurized and radial tuned shocks provide an excellent ride. Welding is required for assembly.

Note: Additional items may be needed to complete installation.  You may want to include our Mustang II ride height adjusters (91034444) for installation with these IFS kits to fine tune your final ride height up to 2".

Note:  If using these kits with Speedway or Heidts crossmembers for 1948-1956 Ford Pickups, 1955-1959 Chevy Pickups, or universal crossmembers for 27-1/2" - 33-1/2" frame widths, you will be required to purchase 2" Inner Tie Rod Extensions (91034345) or (91034346).

These Speedway spindles are one piece, drop forged design constructed of high strength 4140 steel, which makes them superior to original components. These spindles are modeled after the '37-'41 round-back design and use '37-'41 Ford king pins.

These spindles fit Ford axles from '28-'48. They can be used with period correct drum brakes or modern Speedway Motors disc brakes, but will not work with hubs from '28-'36.

    Speedway offers this fully engineered shock mount. The 5/8" forged button head bolt looks good while offering maximum support.  The 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" billet aluminum support spacer has internal threads. This allows you to properly support this shock without crushing the bushing like others do, which leads to shock failures. There's a reason major chassis builders use this mount.

    FK Rod Ends offers this two piece male heim. The ball is made of 52100 steel that is heat treated and hard chrome plated. The body is made of alloy steel and is black oxide coated. The race is heat treated steel alloy that has been zinc plated and chromate treated.
