    Shock mounting stud is approximately 3-5/8" in overall length. The part where the shock rides, is 5/8" O.D. and approximately 1-1/4" wide and the threads at the shock end are 7/16"-20, about 7/8" long. The threads at the bracket end are 1/2"-20, about 1-1/8" long.

    These are the headlight and shock mounts we designed  for our T-buckets. They were designed to be welded to the outside edge of the frame rail with the shock mounting on outside (front) of the bracket.

    • Mounts have 1/2" holes for Dietz style or other headlights
    • Each mount has two different 1/2" hole locations for upper shock mounting

    You will find Bilstein shocks as standard equipment on all the European sports and luxury cars. Now you can have Bilstein shocks for your street rod as well. Beautifully chrome plated. 7/16" top bushing and 5/8" bottom. The inner sleeve is 3/4" on these shocks so removing the sleeve will net a 3/4" I.D. and will not work on shock mounts with a smaller O.D.

    This item will accept tie rod end kit 535-AK35 and also 916-36055-PINTO tie rod adapter stud.

    Weld-on shock mount for bearing end shocks (spherical bearings or heim). Has a 1/2" hole.

    • Contoured to fit onto 1.5" outside diameter tubing
    • Can easily be altered to fit on 1.625", 1.750" or even 2" diameter tubing

    Without modification, this bracket will accept a shock eye with a maximum width of 1". If the installer cuts away part of the support bushing, this bracket would accept a shock eye that is 1.375" wide.

    Note: Pin # 910-07300 won't fit this bracket.

    These kits provide the highest quality performance characteristics for your Mustang II front end. The unique "half barrel" shape springs are designed specifically for use with the Carrera coil-over shocks and the factory upper spring pocket. This enables the use of a longer spring, which allows for a lighter overall spring rate. By building the upper section of the spring to factory dimensions, this puts the weight back into the frame instead of on a single stud.
