    Note: The exhaust port size is square and large enough for most round port heads. It measures 1.375" x 1.375" and should be sufficient for most small block cylinder heads. Variation in location of spark plugs on aftermarket heads makes it impossible to verify that the Tru-Ram® will fit all heads on the market, but it will clear most straight and angle plug heads.

    These B/B Chevy (BBC) headers feature 18 gauge mild steel designed for many racing and rodding applications where 396, 402, 427, 454 and 502 Chevy engines are used. Headers have a 2" diameter tube and 3-1/2" diameter collector. Kit includes eight mandrel-bent primary tubes,  two pre-formed collectors, two extra-thick oval port flanges, two gaskets and twelve header bolts.

    Designed for the seasoned, hands-on enthusiast, weld up headers will require some cutting, fitting and welding.

    To finish off a clean and well-protected Exhaust Insulating Wrap application it is recommended to use the Hi-Heat Coating. The coating will protect the wrap from abrasion and harmful liquid spills. Extra resins and binders toughen the surface, extend the life of wrap by protecting it from friction, and seal the pores to minimize the penetration of harmful liquids.

    The coating also works excellent as a paint directy on metal surfaces.
