                We offer two styles of Powerglide valve bodies for circle track use. The first is the external control style that requires a hydraulic clutch style pedal assembly to allow easy starting and stopping. 

    The second is an internal style which has a reversed shift pattern and no pedal or extra valving is required. Both styles are fully manual and replace your original valve body. Must be used with either our coupler or dummy converter, not a functional converter.

In fact, the Atomic TCM is designed to integrate directly with the Atomic EFI when using Brainwave so you can modify transmission operation parameters from the same handheld monitor! Doing away with the need for sensor duplication, and an extra programmer, means less wiring for easy installation and a clean appearance. Dont worry if you havent stepped up to an Atomic EFI system yet; the Trans Controller is also offered as a stand-alone system to work with most OEM or aftermarket fuel injection systems, as well as carbureted applications equipped with a stand-alone Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). This allows you to take advantage of modern 4-speed overdrive transmissions and the inherent flexibility associated with electronic controls. Available as a stand alone controller or Brainwave ready Adjust the operating parameters of later model electronically controlled 4-speed overdrive transmissions Simple to configure with the supplied Handheld Monitor “ no PC required* OEM style connectors allow direct plugin to popular GM and Ford transmissions Adjust shift points, shift firmness, torque converter clutch behavior, and more Monitor the operation of your transmission in real-time The Brainwave ready TCM allows for seamless integration with the Atomic EFI controller to reduce wiring and simplify setup Easily modify the operating parameters of your GM or Ford 4-speed automatic transmission: Adjust shift points Adjust torque converter clutch behavior Select different levels of shift firmness Select between auto-shift mode and manual-shift mode Activate Dyno Mode to deliver repeatable chassis dyno results Parameter Adjustment Parameters The Atomic TCM allows simple parameter adjustment using the supplied Handheld Monitor. Thats right - no need to worry about a PC and complicated software. The Handheld connects to the Atomic TCM and can be left in place as a dash board to monitor the transmission in real-time, or disconnected once the configuration is complete*. Once installed and connected, you need only specify a few basic parameters that are listed in the Initial Setup menu. First and foremost, select the type of transmission you are using (such as a GM 4L60E or Ford 4R70W). All supported transmission types are listed in the menu to make this step easier. Other required fields under Initial Setup include the number of engine cylinders, rear end gear ratio (and transfer case ratio, if applicable), and tire height. Once the Initial Setup has been completed, you can start and drive the vehicle while taking advantage of the Advanced Setup menu items to dial-in the transmission to your liking. From the Advanced Setup menu, you can control shift points and characteristics like shift feel and torque converter clutch operation. There are also options allowing adjustment of the desired Wide Open Throttle (WOT) shifting, Vehicle Speed Sensor configuration, and more. You can feel the results in real-time as a passenger manipulates the parameters and monitors real-time operational data on the Handheld Monitor! Data available for viewing include engine speed, vehicle speed, throttle position, transmission fluid temperature, shifter position, commanded gear, and more! *Handheld not supplied with Brainwave ready TMC.

It reduces rotating weight and does not slip, but must be used with our circle track valve bodies. It may not be legal at your track.

    Here are some strong, affordable flexplates for you guys running 289/302/351W small block Ford engines. Built from high-tensile chromoly steel, these flexplates are SFI approved and .035" thicker than stock pieces.

    Double welded ring gears will withstand the torque generated from high-stall converters, while the lightweight design promotes rapid engine response. The 157-tooth flywheels are available in 28 or 50 oz.

    Due to the unique offset of these flexplates, they will not work in conjunction with an OEM 12" torque converter.
