Speedway introduces forged rotating assemblies, with an optional balance job. Includes new 2-pc rear main seal crank, rods and pistons. Cranks are new so they use standard size bearings.

All Scat 4340 cranks are 2-piece rear main seal, internally balanced and weigh approximately 51-55 lbs.  All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience!  A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours. These rotating assembly engine rebuild kits may require additional charges for heavy metal.

If you are going to run this crank in a sprint car motor, you must have the crank flange turned down prior to balancing the crank to allow it to go through the motor plate.

If you only want to heat your water system then C&R’s NEW Portable Engine Heater is your answer.  This totally portable unit utilizes a self-contained diesel fired heater to handle all of your pre-heating requirements.  Its 12-volt design makes it entirely independent to an external power source, providing up to 4 hours of continuous operation on a full charge.

Once the unit is connected, it will gradually heat water in the race car to a temperature of approximately 200°F.  The unit will then maintain this temperature until the unit is switched off and disconnected.  This can be done manually with the on/off switch, or the 7-day timer can be programmed to start the unit at a desired time, providing you with a race car that is already up to temperature when you arrive at the track.

                Install an ARP Small Block Chevy (SBC) head stud kit to enhance cylinder head sealing, ensure consistent torque values and help prevent damage to threads in the block. 

    All kits come with aerospace-quality nuts and parallel-ground, hardened washers.  Kits include undercut short studs that all but eliminate head gasket failure. Undercut studs have a narrowed area on the center of the stud shank. These undercuts add more tensile strength to the stud. 190,000 PSI.

    Not for raised runner heads.

                Speedway Tight Lash cams produce a broad range of power due to the short amount of cam degrees it takes to go from .020" lift to .050" cam lift. This is known as major intensity. The shorter the span the more torque the lobe will produce, and for the lobe to run excellent up at higher RPM, it must have an excellent area under the curve. You can tell these do because of the very high duration at .200" cam lift. 

    Compare our numbers to other cam profiles and you will find that these are far superior!

    These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with SBC 400 to 427 CID Air Flow Research 220-235 heads. Max power 6300 rpm, Peak torque 3500. This cam was designed for 1.6 ratio rockers to be used with the AFR heads. The increase lifter velocity maximizes the fill rate of these heads on large stroke engines from 3.75 to 4.00". The cam will maximize RAM Effect and fill cylinder for increase VE. Use of 1.750" on engines up to 412CID and 1.875" on engines over 412CID is highly recommended. We recommend a 3200 stall, a 850CFM carb, and a minimum of 10:1 compression.

    These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with BBC 477 to 496 with 4.25" stroke with Air Flow Research 290 or 305 heads to a max of 6000 rpm. Welcome to the brotherhood of 625HP on pump gas with over 640#/ft. This cam will produce over 600HP with a single plane and right at 600HP with an air-gap intake. Single plane will make 25 more HP and sacrifice 10#/ft. of torque. Carb of choice is a 950HP 4150. 2" headers are recommended. Be sure you have changed U-joints and upgraded rear gears.     These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with BBC 454 to 470 CID with Air Flow Research 265 or 290 Oval Port heads to max of 6000 rpm. If you have built your teenage dream car and put AFR oval ports on it than there is no doubt this is the cam for you. We recommend a high rise dual plane with the center notched.
