                Install an ARP Small Block Chevy (SBC) head stud kit to enhance cylinder head sealing, ensure consistent torque values and help prevent damage to threads in the block. 

    All kits come with aerospace-quality nuts and parallel-ground, hardened washers.  Kits include undercut short studs that all but eliminate head gasket failure. Undercut studs have a narrowed area on the center of the stud shank. These undercuts add more tensile strength to the stud. 190,000 PSI.

    Clevite's H-Series was developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing, but they are suitable for all types of competition engines. These sets are specifically for S/B Chevy V-8 using a crankshaft with 1.88" Honda rod journals.

    • H-Series bearings should be used if contact patterns obtained with P-series parts are too narrow. Contact pattern should ideally cover 2/3 to 3/4 of the bearing surface.
    • If you aren't sure which type of performance bearing to start with, the H-Series will be your best choice.

    Our lightweight forged rotating assembly engine rebuild kits include a 44-45 lb. Scat Superlight 4340 forged 2-pc rear main seal crankshaft, Scat 4340 forged I-beam connecting rods and Mahle pistons complete with wrist pins, locks and rings. Rod and main bearings included. Standard size journals.

    All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience. A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours.

    Speedway introduces forged rotating assemblies, with an optional balance job. Includes new 2-pc rear main seal crank, rods and pistons. Cranks are new so they use standard size bearings.

    All Scat 4340 cranks are 2-piece rear main seal, internally balanced and weigh approximately 51-55 lbs.  All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience!  A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours. These rotating assembly engine rebuild kits may require additional charges for heavy metal.

    If you are going to run this crank in a sprint car motor, you must have the crank flange turned down prior to balancing the crank to allow it to go through the motor plate.

    Chevy 434: 4.125" bore x 4.00" stroke

    NOTE: Piston rings are not included and must be purchased separately. Use Style C rings.
