Tri-Five refers to the 1955, '56 and '57 Chevrolet automobiles, in particular, the Bel Air, 150, 210 and Nomad. Revolutionary in their day, they spawned a cult following that exists in clubs, websites and even entire businesses that exclusively cater to the enthusiasts of the Tri Five automobiles. All featured a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. They remain some of the most popular years for collectors and hot rodders.     Classic Instruments designed these gauges specifically for your '57 Chevy car. This package replaces your original gauges and incorporates a 140 mph speedometer, 8000 rpm tachometer, oil pressure, volt, water temperatrure, fuel level plus high beam indicator. Classic has built the essential electronic circuit boards right into the gague. Electronic speedometer calibration no longer requires knuckle busting or removal of the dash panel! No remote sender needed.

    The fuel gauge is calibrated 0-30 ohms so it will work with your original '57 sending unit and all other sending units are included. Dash bezel not included, reuse your original.

    These replacement stock style rear shackles are designed for use on 1955 Chevy passenger cars.  Sold as a pair.

    • Bushing O.D. on both ends is 1.092 for spring and frame mount.
    • Bushing O.D. on both ends at outside ends is 1.231"
    • Designed for a 2" wide spring and frame mount
    • Center to center of shackle bolts is 3 1/4"
    • Shackle plates are not parallel and NOT stepped as on the 56 and 57 shackles.

                So your car has the original power steering which is a valve on the end of the centerlink. Problem is they never did work right and made switching to a newer steering box a pain. To fix your problem you just unscrew the original power steering valve off the centerlink, screw this gizmo back on and now you can add a new 605 style power steering box and still use your original power steering centerlink. Neat huh.

    Looking for a simple under-the-dash A/C cooling unit? This compact air conditioning control box is just 16" long 4.25" tall and 11" deep. This unit features two large 2" X 6" air vents in front with a three-speed blower motor and cooling control adjustment.

    Note:  This unit consists of the AC evaporator, duct assembly and blower motor for the under dash use.  It will require the additional items of the compressor, hose kit, dryer and condenser to complete the A/C system.

                On your 1955-57 Chevy car, the front motor mounts are at the front of the block and the rear mount attaches to the bellhousing. This works fine for original use but makes it hard to swap in a different trannsmission or add belt driven accessories to the front of the engine. 

    Use with engine cushions 910-18012 and transmission crossmember 916-28910 listed below. No welding, but drilling required.

    We stock these hard to find replacement tie rods that are a must when rebuilding your classic vehicle.  They will give your Tri-5 overall better handling and a positive feel while cruising the strip.  These outer tie rod ends feature 9/16" left hand thread.     These proportioning valves are similar to what GM used on many cars in the 70's. They are non-adjustable and may require an adjustable valve in the rear brakes (if needed). Block incorporates metering (for front brakes) and proportioning (for rear brakes) into one unit. For use with front disc, rear drum brake systems.

    Includes hard lines to connect to a master cylinder with 1/2"-20 and 9/16"-18 outlets.
