Tri-Five refers to the 1955, '56 and '57 Chevrolet automobiles, in particular, the Bel Air, 150, 210 and Nomad. Revolutionary in their day, they spawned a cult following that exists in clubs, websites and even entire businesses that exclusively cater to the enthusiasts of the Tri Five automobiles. All featured a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. They remain some of the most popular years for collectors and hot rodders.     Our standard power steering hose assemblies are an inexpensive alternative to the more costly stainless steel braided hose kits. This set adapts a 1982-1988 T-Bird/Cougar rack or our 91034340-POW rack to a GM style pump. Return hose will normally need to be cut to length.

    The pressure line in this kit has an inverted flare fitting at the pump end along with a 14mm O-ring fitting on the rack end. It also comes with an adaptor so that it can work with an O-ring style (metric) pump fitting. We suggest using power steering pumps 91032922-GM or 910-32908.

    Kit includes:

    • Adapter for the GM pump, to allow it to work with both metric O-ring and standard inverted flare style threads on the power steering pump fitting.
    • The fittings that go into the 1982-1988 T-bird rack which are 14mm O-ring (high pressure) and 16mm O-ring (low pressure return) with the smaller O-ring fitting hose end being the pressure side for the rack.

                The 1955 Chevy cars were not known to have very bright or visible back-up lights. The cure is the addition of L.E.D. conversion kits. 

    These replace old 1157 style bulbs with 14 L.E.D. bulbs that are much brighter, don't put out much heat and last up to 100,000 hours. Stainless steel hardware and easy 30 minute installation.

    These are a 100% new, factory replacement Tri-Five heater core. Not a marginal recore like others sell. For '55-'56 Chevrolet cars without factory air conditioning. We also recommend the mounting plate, which is normally rusted beyond use.

    Note: General Motors produced two different style heater cores for these vehicles. The heater cores we carry are a reproduction of the "deluxe" model, not the "standard."

    These "rams horn" cast iron manifolds were patterned off the 1962-63 327 Corvette but are not OEM remanufactured manifolds. They feature the big 2-1/2" diameter outlets and have provisions to accept original alternator type brackets.

    These headers are copies of the original headers on the 62-63 Corvettes and can be used on almost any small block application. The cast in brackets are for the water tank on the drivers side and generator bracket on the passenger side. These can be cut off and smoothed per customers preference. These are a square port configuration with 1-5/16” top to bottom and also side to side. Compare to your head port size for compatibility.

    When you put modern front disc brakes on your '55-'57 Chevy car, you should update the master cylinder as well. The stock '55-'57 drum brake master cylinder does not have the capacity to supply the proper amount of pressure for front disc brakes. This simple bolt-on power brake assembly will ensure your brakes are operating at peak performance.

    • Kit contains a 1" bore master cylinder with 1/2"-20 and 9/16"-18 outlets, 8" dual diaphragm booster, and a disc/drum combination valve (provides proportioning and metering).
    • Also includes line to connect the prop/metering block to the master cylinder and the necessary hardware to mount the booster to your original '55-'57 Chevy brake pedal.
    • Measures 14-1/4" from firewall bracket to end of master cylinder.

    These kits allow you to mount front disc brakes on your 1955-1964 Chevy full-size car (Bel-Air, Biscayne, Impala, 150 Series, 210 Series). Front disc brakes provide a significant improvement in braking performance versus the drum brakes your old Chevy came with. This disc brake kit works with stock, drum brake spindles only - it does not work with 2" drop spindles. Kit will work with 14" wheels intended for disc brake applications, as well as most 15" (or larger) wheels.

    Rotors are 11" diameter with 5 on 4-3/4" bolt pattern and calipers have 7/16"-20 inlets. This kit will increase track width 7/8" per side or 1-3/4" total when installed.

    These fender well headers provide the ultimate performance for 396-502 big block Chevy V8s in 1955-57 Chevy car applications. They kick up over the frame rail and exit just at the bottom of the cowl, which makes them perfect for Gasser-style rods and drag cars. Plus, these headers feature long primary tubes that help produce more horsepower and torque than shorter, more compact headers.

    These headers are not for the faint of heart since you must cut the inner fender panels to make them fit, and tire clearance can be a problem on some applications. They may require smaller front tires to avoid contact. The stock emergency brake rod must also be altered. Can be used with most oil filter systems or transmission and starter combinations. The headers are designed to be used with engines in the stock location, not lowered as many kits do, so all '55-'57 cars should check motor mount positioning before ordering.

    Side-mount motor mounts are a more rugged mount design than the original front mounts found on your Tri-Five Chevy, plus they allow more room for front drive accessories. Our motor mount kit allows you to side-mount 1958-up S/B Chevy 283-400 c.i. V-8 engines into your 1955, 1956, or 1957 Chevy passenger car.  Will also work on 396-454 big block engines.

    On your '55-'57 Chevy car, the front motor mounts are at the front of the block and the rear mount attaches to the bellhousing.  This works fine for original use, but makes it hard to swap in a different tranny or add belt driven accessories to the front of the engine.  This mount kit is the solution!
