    The superior coil resistance of the Classic Pulse Signal Generator delivers a clean, sharp pulse. These Generators are available with a choice of fittings to connect directly to most metric, GMC, Ford (from the early torque-tube type speedometer drives to the latest electronic automatic overdrives), and some Chrysler transmissions.

    This is a very handy item! This adapter will allow the use a GM-style speedo sender with a 1957-later Ford transmission. Many aftermarket gauge sets come with a GM-style speedo sender. With this adapter,the customer can avoid the purchase of a "Ford" speedo sender.

    These Speed Sensors will usually have sufficient clearance to allow mounting directly on to the cable takeoff of the stock transmission or onto the closed-torque-tube of early Fords. Using this type of sensor can eliminate completely the older flexible mechanical cable.

    This unit will generate the 8-pulse per revolution ( 8,000 pulses per mile ) signal required to correctly operate your Classic Speedometer.

They plug directly into the cap and coil assembly and the locking tabs prevent lost connections due to vibration.     With only two touches you can quickly and accurately program your speedometer.   Classic Instruments SN74 installs in-line between the transmission pulse signal or ECM speed output and your electronic speedometer.  The SN74 converts all known pulse signals, including pulse sendors that replace mechanical speedo cables on early transmissions, factory VSS (vehicle speed sensor), and the computer (ECM) output signals to 16,000 ppm or 8,000 ppm signals.  It also includes an additional 8,000 ppm output signal for your cruise control.  Real-time calibration feature allows total fine tuning.  The filtered power source eliminates interference.  This compact module works with most all aftermarket electronic speedometers and the module can be mounted anywhere inside your vehicle.
