Our economical 9" Ford rear axle housing features a reclaimed center section, new 3" axle tubes, and new-style Ford ends. Total track width is 56" from hub-to-hub.   The pumpkin is centered in the housing, which puts the pinion offset 2-3/8" from center

Includes a set of Currie 31-spline heat-treated, forged alloy axle shafts. Wheel bolt patterns are dual drilled for 5 on 4 1/2" Ford and 5 on 4 3/4" Chevy, and an access hole is drilled. Axles come with a full installation package which includes one set of five 1/2"-20 Ford style wheel studs, one set of five 7/16"-20 Chevy style wheel studs, one set-20 tapered roller bearing with race, seal, & collar, and one heavy duty late model large bearing style retainer plate. Axle bearing does not come pressed onto the axle shaft, and wheel studs are not installed.

Winter's Championship rear end is available with either plain or fully polished housing, six-rib side bells and standard rear cover. Features a standard driveshaft yoke, heat treated lower shaft, 31-spline Winters Track posi differential, and a 4.12:1 ring and pinion.

Housing ends are standard 3.15" big Ford and include 2.5" offset axles. Axles drilled for both 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Measures 56" from axle flange to axle flange and requires our part #91711 10-spline quick change gears.

    This bearing and seal kit includes two inner wheel bearings, two outer wheel bearings and two inner grease seals. This kit is enough for two brake rotors and is intended to be used with a new rotor installation as this kit does not include the bearing races or cups.

    If your project willl be making use of used rotors, you will require new bearing races or cups.  Therefore you will need to purchase the bearing and seal kit # 910-31052 suggested below in place of kit # 910-31000.

    Works with Mustang II/Pinto and Granada rotors using Mustang II/Pinto spindles only. It will not work for installing Mustang II/Pinto brake rotors on 1949-1954 Chevy spindles. Not for use with early Chevy spindle brake conversion kits.

    This brand new carrier housing is built to take street/strip abuse without the fear of breaking. Our aluminum housing has forged caps and extra beef where it's needed. Most stock differentials use the 3.062" o.d. bearings # TLM603049 w/ 1.781" i/d.

    The aluminum case will save you 20 lbs. over the cast iron version. You should also add a new heavy duty aluminum pinion support while you're at it. 

    Carrier caps torque to 95 ft lbs.

    Stock length (5-1/2") slip yoke for GM applications with 1-3/16" x 27-spline output shaft. Works with 1310 series U-joints.

    • This yoke measures 5-1/2" from tip to centerline of u-joint
    • This yoke is grooved for an "external" u-joint cap retaining clip
    • The machined length on the yoke is 3-3/4"

    The expressed measurement or length of the slip yoke is taken from the center of the u-joint to tip, not overall.

                This 9" Ford overhaul kit includes: pinion pilot, pinion shaft, pinion nut, pinion seal, gasket, shims, crush collar, sealant, gear marking grease, brush and Loctite. Ring gear bolts not included. 

    NOTE: All Ford 9" full spools use overhaul kit 9190950-31, even if they are a 28-spline spool. The 9190950-31 contains the large I.D. standard O.D. carrier bearings and pinion bearings needed for use with our full spools.

    If you are using the H.D. nodular iron center section which uses the large diameter carrier bearings, order kit 9190950-31s, which also includes the large pinion bearings for use with the Daytona pinion support.

    If you've upgraded your truck's front end to late model 5 -lug on 5" Chevrolet truck bolt circle disc brakes, now is the time to upgrade your rear end. With the availability of 5-lug trailing arm rear ends quickly drying up, we now offer 5-lug axles that will install into your 6-lug rear end. Our axles come pre-drilled with a 5-lug on 5" Chevrolet truck bolt circle and fit 1965-69 rear ends. The axles accept 1971-72 truck drums and use the existing brake hardware. Available as a complete kit with axles, wheel studs and new brake drums or the use of the spider gear set. Will not work with 1960-62 trucks.

    Note: Factory 6-lug applications had 7/16" diameter studs and 5 on 5-lug kits have 1/2" diameter studs.
