    Every rotor is cast from premium grade, long grain carbon iron which exhibits long wear, high thermal stability, and excellent resistance to distortion in high heat. Modern foundry and machining techniques hold close tolerances on face and vane thickness. Combining the correct face thickness with a 32 vane casting provides superior heat management and long service life with low rotating and unsprung weight. The straight vane design also makes it possible to use the same rotor on left or right hand mounting locations.

    This complete disc brake kit easily installs big 11-3/4" rotors on your 1937-1948 Ford car or 1937-1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup spindles while retaining the original 5 on 5-1/2" bolt circle.

    This kit will work with spindles having either original steering arms or with flat steel steering arms. It will NOT work with forged aftermarket steering arms. Wheels must have 3-7/16" center hole and have been designed for disc brake applications. Will NOT work with early Ford factory wire or steel drum brake wheels.     If you are using 1978-88 GM Metric style brake calipers your choices of piston sizes are pretty much limited to 2-1/2". This isn't bad unless you want to 'tune' your braking by using different size calipers front to rear. By using a larger 2-3/4" piston you will increase the braking force at a wheel over a wheel using a smaller piston.

    Bleeder and inlet are both 10mm-1.5 inlet allowing the caliper to be used on either side. Plus, these calipers have been ground smooth to make them easier to paint.

    Replace those old drum brakes with modern rear disc brakes. Steel rotor hat mounts .81" x 11-3/4" Pro-lite vented iron rotors and calipers to 3" tube rear end.  Complete with rotors, hats, calipers (7/16"-20 inlets), brackets, brake pads, caliper brackets and slider bolts. 

    Hat fits 5 lug hubs with 4-1/2", 4-3/4", or 5" bolt circle.

    Installation note: Due to a wide variation in daimeters of axle flanges and center hubs from manufacturers, it may be necessary to turn these diameters down to the proper dimensions.
