    If you like traditional looks and modern performance, you’re gonna love this cool Flathead 1-wire alternator. It has the look of an original generator, but is really a 6-volt, positive-ground alternator that produces 60 amps at idle and 75 amps going down the road.

    Designed to fit 1939-1948 Ford & Mercury Cars and 1939-1947 Ford Trucks with Flathead V8s. These feature a simple one-wire hookup and are available in black or polished aluminum.

    Fabricated from 1/4" mild steel with stainless/chrome Allen head hardware. Simple installation; all brackets are pre-assembled. Drilling or tapping is not required. Attaches to the lower left front of the block using the two lower bolt holes located by the timing cover (the old front motor mount holes). The adjusting arm mounts to the lower water pump hole. Accepts stock GM Saginaw power steering pumps with attached reservoir.

    Available in chrome or black painted.

    These Powermaster Powergens allow you to keep the authentic looks of a generator with the efficiency of a 1-wire alternator. They put out 75 amps maximum with 60 amps at idle and are a simple one wire design.
