                Get rid of those bulky, cumbersome tailgate hinges on your classic truck by installing a pair of these simple and attractive hinges. The 1/4" thick hinge plates are so small, they virtually disappear from sight when you weld them to your stake pockets and paint them to match. Two plastic trunions slide into the bottom roll of your tailgate to provide a smooth pivot point. Kit includes necessary hardware and instructions.

    These 17 gallon aluminum fuel tanks are designed to be mounted under your pick-up box. The 1-1/2" filler neck will require a remote filler neck or fuel filler door in the box floor. They DO NOT accept the original truck fuel sending unit, but do accept the common 'non-side swing specific' sending unit provided with aftermarket gauge sets.  A 'non-side' swing specific 240 empty - 33 full ohm sending unit such as # 458-8240 or 275-235 can be utilized. 

    Measures 28-1/4" x 16-1/2" x 8".

                This crossmember is ideal for mounting Ford or GM transmissions into 1953-1964 Ford pick-ups. Mounts in channel of frame or under frame to support the tailshaft of the transmission.

    With this mount sitting on table, from the table to the surface that mounts on the frame is 2-3/4". The whole piece is 33-1/2" long.

    Note: Works with rubber transmission cushions.

    Anytime you remove a leaf spring U-bolt, you should replace it. Once they have been tightened and stretch, they have lost their strength. These U-bolts are designed to be used with stock 2" wide front Ford half-ton multi-leaf springs.

    Bolts have 9/16" rolled threads and include flat washers and nylock nuts.

    Anytime you remove a leaf spring U-bolt, you should replace it. Once they have been tightened and stretch, they have lost their strength. These U-bolts are designed to be used with stock 2-1/4" wide rear Ford half-ton multi-leaf springs.

    • 3" center to center mounting
    • 8-5/8" overall length and 8" inside
    • 2-3/8" inside width for 2-1/4" spring

    Bolts have 9/16" rolled threads and include flat washers and nylock nuts.

    As you know when running a dropped axle on your Ford truck, the tie rod sleeve can hit the springs. The 1-1/2" drop moves the tie rod out of the way far enough to clear the springs.

    • 7 Degree Taper
    • 1-1/2" of drop
    • 8"length end to end
    • 2-1/2" of 11/16"-18 thread
    • When used w/ tube # 91634-42.5 produces an eye to eye assembly of 49.5" length minimum and 51" length maximum

                Replace those sloppy worn out tie rods with our new replacements. Original equipment on 1948-1964 Ford half-ton pickups, but these can be used on many other applications other than Ford trucks. Not for use with flat steering arms. Use only with Ford type steering arms with a tapered hole. Not normally used with Chevy spindles.

    Odds are the king pins on your old '57-'64 half-ton Ford truck are shot. These new king pin sets include the parts you need to tighten your truck up again. Honing of the bushings is required by a machine shop in your town.

    Our dropped axles for your classic Ford F1 pickup will get the front end down where you want it. The center portion of the axle is made of 2" DOM tubing while the ends are CNC milled from solid steel. These axles give you 2" of drop on the '57-'60 chassis. Tie rod drops required, U-bolts sold separately.

    If using this axle in conjunction with drop springs, you may encounter bump steer or tie rod issues.

    • This provides 3"drop compared to the stock 53-56 axle, it provides
      2"drop compared to the 57-60 axle.
    • Dropped tie-rod ends 910 48640 may be required to provide tie-rod to spring
      clearance.
    • If you are also using dropped springs, they may need to modify the
      drag link / pitman arm to avoid bump steer.
    • Kingpin center to center = 53 3/4"
    • Spring pad center to center = 32 3/4"
    • Axle will provide a camber reading of -1.6 degrees
