Speedway Motors now offers a reproduction version of one of the most popular carburetors ever used, the original Stromberg 97! Original equipment on '30s and '40s cars and trucks, the Stromberg 97 has long been favored by flathead hot rodders and racers who realized the performance qualities of this timeless fuel supplier.

There have been numerous attempts to reproduce this unit, with little success. "Speedy" Bill Smith of Speedway Motors in Lincoln, Nebraska, took on the challenge to make a great product even better. The 9 Super 7 ® Carb brings this reproduction of the original Stromberg 97 2 barrel carb into the 21st Century!

Speedway Motors has incorporated all of the improvements shown above while maintaining the carburetor's original look. Features such as the choke assembly, accelerator pump, main jets and cosmetics have all been faithfully retained. Additionally, each carburetor is individually flow tested and inspected for leaks. Perfection is the result! 

Aesthetically, the 9Super7 is nearly identical to the stock unit, minus the large 97 logo that appeared on the side and the patent numbers found on the float bowl area. Upgraded internal parts include; the float, needle, and seat. Jetting and power valve settings remain as they were for the original 97 carbs as well as the cfm and vacuum specs.

The other similarity that the 9 Super 7 shares with the original 97 is the setup and tuning necessary to yield a well-running machine. While perhaps not as simple as bolting on a single four-barrel, the 9 Super 7 makes setting up a multiple carburetor induction system easier than when Strombergs were available new. All that's required is an intake, a linkage system, a Uni-Syn syncing tool, and a little patience. Be sure to include the Secondary 9 Super 7 when installing multi-carb setups. Most modern engines have a hi-pressure fuel pump located in the gas tank. If you are transplanting one of these engines into your hot rod, what are you going to do for a fuel pump? This MSD pump can be mounted on the frame and can put out up to 43 gph at 40 psi or 39 gph at 80 psi.

This tri power kit uses the Edelbrock C-357-B S/B Chevy 3x2 intake with Speedway's 9 Super 7® carbs. It has progressive linkage to give you good driveability and economy, but power when you need it. The manifold has a balanced 180° firing order port runner arrangement. It contains an exhaust gas heat riser and offers excellent performance potential. (idle-5500 rpm)

Kit includes three carbs, the intake, air cleaners, linkage kit, fuel block, fittings and red fuel line. Assembly required. Fits 1957-1986 Chevy 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys.

To make your LS1 transplant a little less painful, we put together these kits for you. If you already have a fuel pump in the tank, use the filter/regulator kit 910-12800.

This kit includes a high pressure MSD in-line pump capable of 43 gph @ 40 psi or 39 gph @ 80 psi, a filter/regulator assembly, and all necessary fittings (including fuel rail fitting). Pump draws only 5.4 amps and supports up to 500 horsepower. Pump features 3/8" hose barb inlet and 5/16" barb outlet.

Hose and additional fittings sold separately. MSD pump requires the use of 5/16" high pressure rubber hose with appropriate fuel injection hose clamps for the pressure side of the pump.

    About the only way your 94 carburetor could have a tight throttle shaft would be if you found a NOS carb somewhere. Now you can build yourself a dual or triple carb three deuce set-up that will run like new. We offer you these new extended throttle shafts that are .282" which is .005" oversize. You simply run a 9/32" drill bit or reamer through the base plate and you now have a tight carb again.

    This billet aluminum pump is almost 1-1/2 lbs. lighter than the cast aluminum model. The clamp base model offers you the convenience of a quick disconnect. This pump can be rotated for easy access to fittings. Includes "Y" fitting which converts one #8 outlet to three #6 outlets.
